The travel expert team at Accor have found the best city to celebrate by checking Google Reviews for the most positive reviews of a pint of Guinness.

Guinness, known as the ‘Black Stuff’, is notoriously hard to pour. According to the Guinness Storehouse, the perfect pint requires a tulip glass, a 45 degree angle pour and servers need to wait for around a minute to fill the glass.

So where are Britons most likely to enjoy the perfect pint of Guinness this St Patrick’s Day?

Nottingham had Britain’s best Guinness according to reviews of the ‘black stuff’ with Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem the best-rated pub for the stout.

The Grade II listed pub is built into stone caves and is thought to be one of the oldest pubs in England.

York grabbed second place on the list with The Punch Bowl, the best pub to enjoy Guinness in the city.
