The board of Hindustan Zinc Ltd has approved a plan to set up a 10 million tonnes per annum tailings reprocessing plant with an investment of up to Rs 3,823 crore. The new unit, which is expected to be completed in 28 months, will be set up as part of the company’s plan to double its production capacity.
Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries, has forayed into the fast-growing healthy functional beverage space with the acquisition of a majority stake in a JV with Naturedge Beverages. Without disclosing any details of the acquisition, RCPL said the deal with the company, which owns herb-infused functional packaged beverage, will help it to be a “total beverage company”.

Reliance Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. (REPL), an associate company of Reliance Power, has incorporated a joint venture (JV) company named GDL–Reliance Solar Pte Ltd (GRSPL) in Bhutan. The JV, incorporated on July 24, 2025, under Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC), a Special Administrative Region in Bhutan, has been established as a 50:50 partnership between Green Digital Private Limited, a state-owned enterprise of the Royal Government of Bhutan, and REPL.
